I had used them before , but foolishly seen their price had went up £15 and went else where ( medcert) well I received a completed from back from (medcert) which had me have an alcohol counciling and having a medical condition . This was total incorrect , I complained, well tried too no one answers the phone there or responds to email ( medcert). Done a charge back through my bank anyway , all I can say is firearm medicals answer the phone and are very polite and helpfull. I have my own medical records and sent onward to them. I received my completed form in a day filled out by there doctor fine. Go to them they are a professional outfit. For gods sake stay away from (medcert ) read the reviews of that company , I wish I had ! Firearm medicals all the way.

Our fully-qualified and indemnified GP and medical review team is led by avid shooting enthusiast and long standing member of BASC, Dr Grant Charlesworth-Jones.

From our experience in private medical services we have a number of GPs on our panel who are able to assist you with your medical verification. We provide medical reports for those applying for UK firearms and shotgun certificates to ensure a quick turnaround in terms of licences – for both existing and new licence holders.

Simply complete our online referral portal below (or email or post) to begin the straightforward process of medical verification for your shotgun/firearms licence application or renewal.

The fee for your firearms/shotgun medical report is £75, and we aim to complete your report and submit it to you and/or your designated firearms officer (depending on the police force) within 3 working days of receiving your full medical records from your GP surgery.

N.B. rules state your GP must release the records within 28 days of request, this can often be breached and we ask for your patience in this event.
